Build–ship—grow: Doing what's important for early creative projects ft. Aarthi (Founder, Podcaster)

2024 has just started, and most of us would be wanting to explore ideas, build and ship projects such as podcasts, apps, blogs, videos. An often-asked question is "should I focus on distribution and growth" or "should I be building and shipping things out?

While in some sense it's tricky to answer it, Aarthi Ramamurthy (CPO, Founder, Podcaster) and I chatted about it to see where the focus for early-stage creative founders and builders lie:

- showing up and building in public
- following a consistent pattern for shipping
- pick signals along the way
- co-build and ship with stakeholders
- reflect and act on output

And eventually growth and organic distribution get as an outcome of doing these little steps over and over.
